Hannah Forward is a talented printmaker and painter based in Hove, UK. She pursued a BA in Graphic Design at Brighton University from 2003 to 2006. Following her graduation, she established herself as an illustrator, contributing editorial pieces to notable publications like The Guardian. In 2013, Hannah discovered her passion for relief printmaking through a short course, a medium that has captivated her ever since. Her dedication to this craft led to significant recognition in 2018 when her linocut print “Cassette Tapes” was selected for the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, curated by the renowned artist Grayson Perry. Her involvement in the exhibition was highlighted further as she was one of three artists featured in a BBC documentary about the event. The following year, her linocut print “Cameras” was also selected for the 2019 Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, affirming her status as a distinguished artist in the printmaking community. In 2020 she had her first solo show of paintings and prints here at the Don’t Walk Walk Gallery!
