Giant Headgear by Ieuan Edwards

A hand carved, hand printed linocut of an incredible set of headgear at a Ukrainian iron ore mine. Printed on 100% cotton rag using four colours of linseed ink. Print size 20 x 60cm, Sheet size 28 x 76cm

This large prints is hand made and there’ll be some minor variation. It’s cut from a single block of lino, printing the lightest colour first, then cutting into the same block for the next colour and so on until the final darkest colour. This means that a cut can never be repeated, making the small editions of prints collectable.
