Sidney Teodoruk, formerly known as Brad Teodoruk, is an artist of contrasts who employs a variety of visual devices to craft strange narratives filled with dichotomous imagery and text. He obscures large areas of his work with overlay of block colour, inviting viewers to fill in the blanks. His pieces often feature nostalgic childhood objects scattered throughout fractured, neo-expressionist landscapes, evoking both playfulness and unease.

Teodoruk explores opposing forces as a source of confusion, contention, and humour. He contrasts heavy, dense subjects with subjects of physical or metaphorical lightness. Through the language of contrast, he delves into his perceptions of the world and himself.
