Fielding, who is best known as the co creator and star of The Mighty Boosh studied fine art at Croydon University (under Turner nominee Dexter Dalwood) His visual worlds and characterisations transcended the canvas through to TV and has since exhibited artworks in the Royal Albert Hall, Saatchi and The Tate Liverpool and Somerset House  amongst others.

Fielding’s paintings are physical animated affairs that are worked on in bursts of energetic vigour. The work is layered and textured using under-painting techniques and then forcefully working paint into the surface with brushes and his hands. Noel’s work perfectly mirrors his outward nature that we have come to love – ridiculous, absurd, whimsical, nonsensical and fun.  Ultimately Fielding’s works accumulate into projections of his layered fantasy world view.
