Neil Horenz-Kelly, also known as NED, earned his Master’s Fine Art (MFA) Wimbledon School of Art, London 2004. He is a Kent-based artist who creates paintings that evoke intimacy and experience by stimulating emotion and memory. His abstract landscapes and skyscapes hint at embodied memory and a sense of place, challenging straightforward interpretations of the painted surface. Often ethereal and immersive, Neil’s work leverages the psychology of colour to elicit deep emotional responses, drawing on the traditions of colour field painters. He aims to create an emotional bridge between the forces of nature and a deep internal connection with the self through his compositions.
