Christophe Gowans is a London-based graphic illustrator who trained in graphic design at Berkshire College of Art and Design. He has served as Art Director for several magazines, including Blitz, Hybrid, Esquire, Modern Painters, The Sunday Telegraph Magazine, and Stella. Prior to his work in publishing, Gowans designed for the music industry, collaborating with Assorted Images (Malcolm Garrett) for Culture Club, Peter Saville Associates for New Order, Red Ranch for Level 42, and Three Associates (Mark Farrow) for the Pet Shop Boys.

Currently creating art both digitally and in printed form, Christophe Gowans draws most of his inspiration from pop culture, focusing on how it is constructed and presented.
